Company Profile

Employment Office first began in 1999, starting with a simple but highly effective idea that streamlines the recruitment process, building clients a talent pool of candidates that can be simply and intelligently sorted using the latest technology. The innovative idea was the brain child of Tudor Marsden-Huggins, who at the time was a business owner frustrated with the difficulties inherent in advertising for his own staff, versus the expense and lack of choice and control involved in using employment agencies. He and Susanne Mather formed a partnership to commercialise the concept and bring it to market, late in 2002, and the company was incorporated as The Employment Office in March 2003.

Due to high levels of success Australia wide and internationally, in January 2008 Employment Office was 50% purchased by Flight Centre Limited, proudly becoming Flight Centre’s FIRST non-travel related, pure business investment! Employment Office now has offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, London, Vancouver, Toronto, and South Africa and through the involvement of Flight Centre Limited is in the process of opening offices in all Australian capital cities and 8 overseas locations.

Today, Employment Office Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 18 129 212 602), is 50% owned by Flight Centre Limited and 50% owned by two private shareholders. The Board comprises Tudor Marsden-Huggins (Managing Director), Susanne Mather (Sales Director), and Graham (Skroo) Turner and Michael Murphy.
