I was admittedly somewhat sceptical of the Employment Office approach to advertising the vacancy and receiving applicants when I first used this service. However, in this instance it has proven extremely beneficial and attracted a large number of quality applicants.

In total, I received approximately 95 applications over the course of 3 weeks. This was initially a daunting prospect, however the questionnaire developed by the employment office was extremely efficient in identifying the most appropriate applicants. Of these, I spoke to approximately ten applicants, interviewed five and made an offer to two candidates. The end result is that we have secured the services of a highly skilled, professional receptionist who we are very excited to have on board.
